Why was I debited for SMS charges?

Please note that the debit you received for SMS charges, represents a monthly summary charge for transaction alerts and service notifications sent to your registered phone number throughout the month. These alerts help keep your account secure, transparent, and up to date.


Important to know:

  • SMS charges are applied once at month-end
  • Charges are based on the number of alerts received during the month


If you would like to manage or stop SMS notifications, follow the steps below:


  1. Log in to your app using your username and password
  2. From the Services section of your Dashboard, select More
  3. Choose Settings under the Account and settings option
  4. On the Settings page, select Notification Preferences
  5. Turn off the notifications you no longer need. You can also turn on the notifications you want to start receiving from this section.
